American Educational Gender Information Service - AEGIS is now a part of Gender Education and Advocacy (GEA), and information on this group can be found at www.gender.org. AEGIS is a clearinghouse for information about transgender and transsexual issues.

FTM International - This site is the internet contact point for the largest, longest-running educational organization serving FTM transgendered people and transsexual men. Provides information, newsletters and other publications, and support from volunteers who are willing to help if you need someone to talk to.

Gender Education & Advocacy - The web site of Gender Education and Advocacy, providing resources and activism for the transgender community. "The organization for gender variant people for the new millennium." Divisions include "It's Time, America," AEGIS, and the Remembering Our Dead project

Gender Law and Policy - The Gender Law and Policy Pages contains an up-to-date listing of all laws in the US that are transgender-inclusive. It has quality resources and information on legal issues affecting transgendered and gender variant people in the US.

GenderPAC - A not-for-profit organization, composed of individuals and groups, dedicated to a broad-based, inclusive national movement for "gender, affectional, and racial equality."

GenderTalk - Activist radio! The latest ideas on philosophy, strategy, and results in the ongoing effort to redefine cultural gender boundaries. Boston's worldwide radio program that talks about transgenderism in the first person.

Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders - Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) is New England’s leading legal rights organization dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual orientation, HIV status and gender identity and expression. Be sure to check out GLAD's Guide to Transgender Legal Issues in New England, a comprehensive outline of the legal protections of transgender people.

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD): TG & Intersex Visibility Initiative - Focuses on and advocates for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation s of transgender and intersex people in the media.

International Foundation for Gender Education - IFGE is a leading advocate and educational organization for promoting the self-definition and free expression of individual gender identity, and an excellent source of transgender news and information.

Intersex Society of North America - The Intersex Socicety of North America (ISNA) is a public awareness, education, and advocacy organization which works to create a world free of shame, secrecy, and unwanted surgery for intersex people (individuals born with anantomy or physiology which differs from cultural ideals of male and female).

Transgender at Work - The Transgender at Work (TAW) project is a focal point for addressing workplace issues for the transgendered. TAW provides resources for innovative employers who want to set their company employment policies to help their transgendered employees to be at their most productive, without spending energy hiding an important part of themselves and pretending to be something they are not.

National Center for Lesbian Rights - NCLR is the nation's legal center advancing the rights and safety of lesbians and their families through of litigation, public policy advocacy, free legal advice and counseling, and public education. Also transgendered individuals on key issues.

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force has worked to eliminate prejudice, violence and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people at the local, state and national level since its inception in 1973.

National Lesbian and Gay Law Association - (NLGLA) is a national association of lawyers, judges and other legal professionals, law students and affiliated lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) legal organizations. Sponsors annual Lavender Law Conference.

National Transgender Advocacy Coalition - NTAC was formed to provide a voice for transgendered individuals. "We focus on a time when no transgendered individual will have to hide in shame. When marriage, family, career, housing is not longer a privilege but a basic inalienable right."

Remembering Our Dead - Transgendered - A website dedicated to preserving the memory of transgender individuals murdered by hate and killed by predjudice

Renaissance Transgender Association - Renaissance Transgender Association provides the very best comprehensive education and caring support to Transgendered individuals and those close to them. This is accomplished through offering a variety of carefully selected programs and resources focused on the factors affecting their lives.

Survivor Project - Dedicated to addressing the needs of trans and intersex survivors of sexual assault, rape, or domestic violence through caring action, education, and expanding access both to resources for those in need and to opportunities for action.

Transgender Law and Policy Institute - Founded by Paisley Currah, Assoc. Prof. of Political Science at Brooklyn College, The Transgender Law and Policy Institute is dedicated to engaging in effective advocacy for transgender people in our society. The TLPI brings experts together to work on law and policy initiatives designed to advance transgender equality. Their website provides an amazing wealth of information and resources on legislation, case law, employer and college policies and other resources.
