American Educational Gender Information Service - AEGIS is now a part of Gender Education and Advocacy (GEA), and information on this group can be found at www.gender.org. AEGIS is a clearinghouse for information about transgender and transsexual issues.
FTM International - This site is the internet contact point for the largest, longest-running educational organization serving FTM transgendered people and transsexual men. Provides information, newsletters and other publications, and support from volunteers who are willing to help if you need someone to talk to.

Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders - Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) is New England’s leading legal rights organization dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual orientation, HIV status and gender identity and expression. Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD): TG & Intersex Visibility Initiative - Focuses on and advocates for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation s of transgender and intersex people in the media.
International Foundation for Gender Education - IFGE is a leading advocate and educational organization for promoting the self-definition and free expression of individual gender identity, and an excellent source of transgender news and information.
Intersex Society of North America - The Intersex Socicety of North America (ISNA) is a public awareness, education, and advocacy organization which works to create a world free of shame, secrecy, and unwanted surgery for intersex people (individuals born with anantomy or physiology which differs from cultural ideals of male and female).
Transgender at Work - The Transgender at Work (TAW) project is a focal point for addressing workplace issues for the transgendered. TAW provides resources for innovative employers who want to set their company employment policies to help their transgendered employees to be at their most productive, without spending energy hiding an important part of themselves and pretending to be something they are not.
National Center for Lesbian Rights - NCLR is the nation's legal center advancing the rights and safety of lesbians and their families through of litigation, public policy advocacy, free legal advice and counseling, and public education. Also transgendered individuals on key issues.
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force has worked to eliminate prejudice, violence and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people at the local, state and national level since its inception in 1973.
